EUSR Parliament for Europe session II ''Public Administration reform in BiH immediate priorities''

The second session of the third cycle of Parliament for Europe (PfE) took place on 07 March 2011, and was dedicated to discussion about public administration reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), especially in terms of BiH immediate priorities in this area.

Speakers (H.E. Dr. Valentin Inzko, European Union Special Representative (EUSR) in BiH, Minister Samuel Žbogar, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Minister Nickolay Mladenov, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Dr. László Tóth, Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary in BiH, Dr. Gregor Virant, Associate Professor, the Faculty of Administration, the University of Ljubljana (and former Minister of Public Administration in Government of the Republic of Slovenia), Ms. Anke Freibert, Senior Public Administration Reform Consultant, Mr. Boris Iarochevitch, Chargé d’affaires, Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Semiha Borovac, State Coordinator for Public Administration Reform, Office of the State Coordinator for Public Administration Reform/PARCO) and participants agreed that there is a need for accelerated efforts in implementation of the public administration reform in BiH and continued work on making the public administration more efficient and effective.
