Institutional development and capacity building
Pi Consulting is engaged in number of interventions related to institutional and capacity building issues in the Western Balkans. The company has an extensive network of contacts in both the private and public sector institutions, as well as having in-depth 'hands-on' knowledge of Western Balkans and BiH and the workings of government machinery.
Within this area, our expertise covers, but is not limited to, the following aspects of reform:
- Working towards building institutional capacity to assist governments in the region on their path towards joining the EU;
- Helping the legislators in BiH to meet the obligations related to the BiH advancement towards the EU;
- Organizing and running sessions with prominent MEPs, members of Member State legislatures and EU figures with personal experience of the accession process, dedicated to a specific topic closely related to Public Administration Reform and European integration priorities;
- Strengthening regulatory frameworks, most notably in the financial services sector and improving public sector financial management; and
- Improving financial administration of public resources in BiH by, inter alia, facilitating translation of public audit findings into actions.
