Contribution to the OECD’s Investment Reform Index 2009
The Investment Reform Index (IRI) was the flagship publication of the OECD’s Investment Compact for South East Europe, with the overall objective being to monitor, evaluate and prioritise business climate reforms in South-East Europe, with the aim of generating higher levels of direct investment in the ten economies concerned.
The specific objective of the project was to i) independently and
rigorously assess investment-related policy settings and reform against
international best practice, ii) give guidance for policy reform and
development, iii) create a process that enhances the quality of policy
development relating to investment and iv) facilitate prioritisation of
donor activities supporting investment and growth.
